Highlights

  • Uses the correct forms of vitamins and minerals
  • Includes mixed tocopherols for vitamin E
  • Includes 330mg of DHA from algae
  • A good option for those needing lower dosages and who are sensitive to certain vitamins and minerals found in most multivitamins

Improvements

  • Ritual only uses 10 vitamins and minerals -many at very low doses – which will fall short for the majority of people
  • Ritual makes an odd choice of only using 20% of the RDA for vitamin A, 22% for zinc, and 7% for magnesium, when a high percentage of people struggle to hit the optimal targets of these exact nutrients
  • There is an assumption for this formula that most people are getting most of the vitamins and minerals they need from their diet
  • The only difference between this formula and the men’s multivitamin is 8mg of iron bisglycinate, which is very low for those who need more iron
  • I would argue that is an incorrect assumption, and not including selenium, iodine, B6, and other B-vitamins makes this formula fall short
  • High retail price for such a simple formula, showing a major mark-up from the cost to make it
